This is how the Avant Premiere of 'Agustín Tapia: Hacia La Cima' was experienced
Yesterday, December 18, Agustín Tapia and his family attended with more than 150 people the exclusive preview of "Hacia La Cima", the documentary about the intense journey of the "Mozart of Catamarca" to become the best padel player in the world.
The film's critics were unanimous: viewers highlighted the rhythm, tension and emotion with which the narrative describes the achievements of the argentine crack during the last few years. The film focuses especially on the final in Vigo, a historic match in which Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello snatched the number 1 ranking from Juan Lebrón and Alejandro Galán. A confrontation that sports journalist Nacho Palencia refers to as "the best final in the history of the World Padel Tour".
The event took place at the IMO space located in Barcelona. After the welcome cocktail, the journalist Carles Prat acted as presenter of the evening. Prior to the screening of the documentary, Jesús Ballvé (General Manager of NOX) shared a few words with the guests, highlighting with emotion what it represents for the company to accompany Agustín on this path, as well as the importance of the Nox Future Academy (NFA) -their academy for young padel talents- for the growth and development of this sport and in the training of the new talents of the future.
After the conclusion of the audiovisual, Tapia took the stage with Luchi Nóbile and Federico Louteiro, who played the roles of director and producer in the documentary, respectively. Together, they led a lively round table discussion in which they shared numerous anecdotes and curiosities related to the filming process. They also answered a variety of questions from the media and the enthusiastic audience.
The event culminated with the presentation of a personalized bronze statuette, which captured the distinctive gesture of the argentine player. This emblematic gesture symbolized a well-deserved recognition of a spectacular season in which he was crowned world No. 1.
The documentary will be released for the general public on December 22nd on NOX's official YouTube channel.
